ObligoBoard offers two paid plans — Starter and Pro — along with a 14-day free trial that gives you full access to evaluate the platform before committing.
Free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full Pro plan access. No credit card is required to start.
During the trial you get:
- All Pro plan features unlocked
- Up to 5 of your own organisations (e.g., subsidiaries, practice areas, holding companies)
- Up to 10 team members per organisation
- All compliance frameworks available
- Full Evidence Pack generation
- Privacy and Cookie Policy generators
You will receive email reminders as your trial approaches its end date — at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day remaining.

Starter plan
The Starter plan is designed for small organisations managing a single compliance framework. It includes all core features — obligation tracking, evidence uploads, and document generation — with limits on team size and frameworks.
Starter plan limits

- 5 team members — enough for a small compliance team
- 1 compliance framework — choose the framework most relevant to your organisation
Pro plan
The Pro plan unlocks the full ObligoBoard feature set. It is designed for organisations managing multiple frameworks, larger teams, or multiple entities.
Pro plan features
- Up to 5 of your own organisations — manage separate entities (e.g., subsidiaries, practice areas, holding companies) from one account
- Up to 10 team members per organisation
- All compliance frameworks — GDPR Basics, ESG Light Reporting, EU AI Act Essentials, UK Business Compliance, and any future frameworks
- Cookie scanning — automated cookie detection and policy verification
- Priority support — faster response times from the ObligoBoard team
- Custom logo on Evidence Pack exports — for branding your audit reports. This is report-level branding, not client-facing white-label. Upgrading
You can upgrade from Starter to Pro at any time from Settings > Billing. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and billing is prorated — you only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
After upgrading, all Pro features are available instantly. You can add additional frameworks and invite more team members right away.
Downgrading
Downgrading from Pro to Starter takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, you retain full Pro access.
When the downgrade takes effect:
- Additional organisations beyond the first become read-only
- Additional team members beyond 5 lose access
- Additional frameworks beyond the first are deactivated (obligations are hidden, not deleted)
Before downgrading, make sure to consolidate your work into a single organisation and single framework. Generate Evidence Packs for any frameworks that will be deactivated.
